Enjoy Riding More
Riding can be hard on the body and that can limit how much you enjoy your bike.
There are so many things out of your control that can get in the way of a good day on the bike (weather, maintenance issues, road closures, etc)…
Don’t let something you can control (how your body feels on the bike) be one of those things that gets in the way of you enjoying your ride.

Improve Your Performance
The way your body moves (or doesn’t move) is the most important factor in how your motorcycle performs.
You can tune suspension, change tires, mess with gearing, but if you aren’t able to control the motorcycle with your body in a safe and effective way, you’ll never become the rider you want to become.
The most important modification we can make to our bike is us — how we use our bodies to help the motorcycle perform at the highest level.

You Need Maintenance Too
We put so much time and effort (did someone say money?) into caring for the motorcycle: cleaning, maintaining, upgrading parts, accessories, etc. It’s time to include you as the rider in that routine maintenance.
If you appreciate the attention to detail and effort thats needed to keep a motorcycle running well — a machine that’s way less complicated than a human body — what do you think you need as a rider?
Matt was a guest on the Canyon Chasers podcast “The Braking Zone,” talking all things healthcare and becoming a safer and faster rider.
“Having worked with Matt over the course of a few seasons and a guy who’s seen the operating table over 20 times, I’ve been able to overcome injury and create strength in areas that I didn’t know how to strengthen.
The greatest impact to me has been in the learnings; I never knew how much went into each functional movement on a motorcycle, and I now have a greater understanding of what my body goes through on a motorcycle and how to best optimize my inputs. You can never stop learning.”

“Matt has a magical way in his practice. I was amazed with the amount of range I gained in mobility with just some simple breathing techniques. I was in a bad spot with my hip during a race weekend and he was able to make a huge difference with that and get me back out there at my best. Dr. Matt Tolstoy is da man!”
